about

The following is an excerpt from page one of The Abridged Histories of Normanpex, Volume Two, written by the respected Eulrossian Era historian Helvid Dornhurst:

"Following the death of the great Norm ruler Altimous More, the celebrated polymath Aulberic Vorturn began his reign over both Normanpex and its empire. While wielding power, society and governance within the realm would be shaped underneath his order, bringing forth the Vorturnian Era, which would last beyond his death. His doings constitute many, but his most notable feats include the creation of the Apex Triumvirate, his implemented restriction of dangerous, un-Norm ideas, and his command to make the Innovation Guild abide by his flawed plan for promised progress, known as "Vorturn's Path." I write about this epoch with my place in the Eulrossian Era in mind, as things are much more different now. I wish to address the unique characteristics of this period to a further extent so that I may detail its triumphs and flaws as a part of Norm history. So, please allow me to enlighten you on the Vorturnian Era."

Its buildings are so abundant they stretch into the distance, and its sky is pierced by towers and spires. It has stood for hundreds of years, holding many stories; and here they are... ... more
